Rosewood dining table, Denmark, ca, 1960s.
A versatile oval dining table by Niels Otto Møller for Gudme Møbelfabrik. Features rosewood construction with a generous boat-shape top supported by a sculptural pedestal base. Includes two large removable leaves that conveniently store beneath the top. Easily seats six to ten dining companions.

Matching 10 Teak Eva Dining Chairs by Niels Koefoed, two with arms.
A gorgeous set of solid teak dining chairs by Niels Koefoed for Koefoeds Hornslet. Made in Denmark too. The lines on these chairs are simply stunning, from their gently curved backs to the slight splay of the legs. These chairs have been inspected, tightened, and touched up to bring them to ready-to-use condition.
Chairs with new black vinyl covers.

I personally love this dining set — it has a strong sculptural presence, with clean, elegant lines and excellent craftsmanship. Last year, I sold a similar set to a happy buyer for about 9,000 NZD, but that one had only one extension and eight chairs.
This current set is even rarer — when fully extended, the large tabletop 258cm can comfortably seat ten people for dining.

Table with both extensions:
258L -106D – 73H in cm

Table with one extension:
209L -106D – 73H in cm

Table without extension:
161L -106D – 73H in cm

Two armchairs:
53W – 49D – 96H in cm
seat high 44cm
seat deep 39cm

Eight normal chairs:
38W – 49D – 96H
seat high 44cm
seat deep 39cm

Rosewood.

Small imperfection due to its age, but the piece is in good overall condition, especially considering its age and recent restoration.
