In the later stages of Denmark’s furniture manufacturing industry, many production processes were relocated to Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia. This shift brought production closer to the source of teak and benefited from lower labor costs. Nevertheless, the furniture retained the hallmark Danish design and quality.
